C.J. is a self-taught tattoo artist and entrepreneur whose work is rooted in one principle: Transformation. His path to becoming an artist was unconventional. Years of adversity became years of deliberate study, reflection, and disciplined self-development, shaping not only his artistic ability but his understanding of people, perspective, and purpose. That depth continues to influence his work today. To C.J., a tattoo is rarely just an image. It can represent a story, an identity, a turning point, or something deeply personal that words alone can't express. Specializing in black and gray realism and cover-ups, C.J. built his craft around versatility, curiosity, and continual growth. Believing an artist should never become so comfortable with what they know that they stop discovering what they're capable of creating. Ultimately, those experiences, studies, and years of artistic development converged into a single vision, Einstein Ink. The studio was created from C.J.'s belief that understanding the person behind the tattoo is just as important as the art itself. That philosophy is captured in its promise, The Genius Behind Your Expressions.
